Knaresborough is very close to the cosmopolitan North Yorkshire town of Harrogate which is home to the Harrogate International Centre (HIC), one of the world's top venues for conferences, exhibitions, banquets and entertainment.

Also close by is Leeds, an up and coming city for new business opportunities, and of course historical York, both cities are a short train ride away.
